Kadai Paneer: Kadai Paneer Recipe

Kadai Paneer is served with roti or rice.Kadai Paneer Recipe, a mouthwatering combination of paneer, capsicum, Onion, Tomato and traditional Indian spices cooked in an Oil Or Ghi, is one of the most popular Recipe.

How to Make Kadai Paneer-Method:


Heat 1 Tbl spn oil in a kadai and fry paneer pieces till golden.Remove this and soak it in hot water till use.Heat 1 Tbl spn oil in kadai.

Fry onions and capsicum for 5 min.Remove this and set it aside for a moment.

Heat 1 Tbl spn of oil and crackle some cumin seeds, ginger for 30 sec.

Add in tomato puree along with chili powder,  Coriander powder, salt and mix well.Cook till oil separates.

Add in the cooked onion-capsicum mixture in this and mix well.Drain the soaking paneer pieces and mix in this.

Add a splash of water and cook for 3 min.

Garnish with coriander leaves and serve Kadai Paneer hot with roti or rice.


  • Preparation Time - 15Minutes
  • Cooking time -  20 Minutes

Serving Ideas-

Serve Kadai Paneer with Tandoori roti, Lachha Paratha, Butter naan Or Kulcha and Salad.Sometimes I do Serve Salted Chaas Or Masala Chaas on Side.
